Ms. Saumya Kapoor has a comprehensive trademark practice, handling all aspects of counselling, clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. As part of her practice, she also manages domestic and international trademark portfolios and has provided legal advice and representation to clients at both, India and global levels in handling their portfolios. She has also worked in IP matters in foreign jurisdictions with her network of trusted local attorneys for filing applications and conducting pre-filing searches. She particularly enjoys working with and advising nascent stage start-ups and helping them with building their brands, legal documentation and IP portfolio.
She is passionate about writing and has published several articles in leading legal portals such as Asia IP, Lexology, IAM Weekly – to name a few. She has participated in several international conferences and is an active member of diverse international committees. She was previously associated with the Trade Marks Prosecution and Opposition Team at Chadha & Chadha Intellectual Property Law Firm, Gurugram.

Karan Chopra, Partner
Mr. Karan Chopra heads the General Corporate practice of the Firm. He has experience in commercial disputes, drafting and reviewing a broad spectrum of commercial contracts including service and vendor agreements, business alliance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, engagement agreements, marketing and promotion service agreements and has filed criminal complaints in matters pertaining to the dishonour of cheque as well. His experience also extends to drafting leave and license agreements, lease deeds, and operating agreements as well as resolving disputes filed against companies in Mediation and Conciliation Centres.
Mr. Chopra has also defended large multinationals such as Amazon, Makemytrip and RedBus in District and State Consumer Forums. Prior to Adira Legal, he was Legal Counsel with Awfis Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd and has previously worked with brands such as ByteDance India Technology Pvt. Ltd. (Tik Tok) as well as Zomato Media Pvt. Ltd.
